Boxing fans in the Midlands have the chance to see Ryan Hatton in action next month as the Cromwell Trucks’ sponsored fighter steps into the ring in Leicester.

The light heavyweight, who is part of the Frank Warren stable, will be hoping to extend his undefeated streak to four when he fights on The Time Is Now bill at the Leicester Arena on October 6.

This will be the first time Hatton has boxed in the Midlands as a professional and he is keen to put on a knockout show in front of his own fans.

The Tamworth fighter will be performing on the undercard of the event which will be screened live on BT Sport. Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams will be in action alongside scheduled bouts between Daniel Dubois and Kevin Johnson, Jack Catterall and Ohara Davies and Lyon Woodstock and Archie Sharp.

Hatton has enjoyed a perfect professional career so far. He defeated Jack Davies in his debut at the Copperbox in London, which was followed up by a first-round destruction of Hungarian fighter Attila Orsos in Germany. Hatton’s last outing came in April in Belfast on the undercard of the Carl Frampton v Nonito Donaire World Title fight. Ryan, who is a six-time national junior champion, beat Atilla Tibor Nagy in two rounds to make it three wins in a row.
