Cromwell Trucks to Sponsor Weston Beach Race 2010
Cromwell Trucks will, once again, be the title sponsor of the adult quad and solo races at the Weston Beach Race, which this year takes place over the weekend of 15-17 October in the Somerset seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare.
As usual we’ll be bringing a variety of our used trucks for sale with us so that customers can take a look and this year we’ll be handing out vouchers giving visitors £500 off any of our used trucks.
We’re also very excited because Oli, the son of our owner Marcus Sansom, will be competing in the quad races. He does this as a sport full time and finished 2nd in the British Supercross Championship last season. Currently he is lying 2nd in the National Offroad Championship and is in the top ten in the British Motorcross Championship, so we’ll all be cheering him on!

The event attracts nationwide interest and around 100,000 people descend upon the Weston-super-Mare shoreline over the course of the race weekend for this unusual, family orientated competition. The famous event takes over the entire seaside town, with contenders and spectators venturing from across the country to take part in the weekend's proceedings.
Due to its high popularity with both fans of motorcycle racing and those not normally interested, The Weston Beach Race is an ideal end of Summer event, and one that Cromwell Trucks is proud to sponsor.
