Truckstop and Lorry Park Map launched
If you're looking for a safe place to park or need to plan your route, the free interactive truckstop map, provided by Roadtransport.com, may be able to help.
The Truckstop map lists truckstops, lorry parks and other overnight HGV parking areas in the UK, using Google Maps. If you want to take a look at the area in more detail then you can use Google Street View to get a first-person view.
All of the entries are listed in alphabetical order, and marked out accurately on the map along with the relevant contact details for each site. You can zoom in on the map by double-clicking on the area you want, using the mouse scroll wheel or moving the slider on the left of the map. Alternatively you can search for the truckstop you require.
It's a really handy tool for all truck drivers, and is constantly being updated - in fact Roadtransport.com are asking for submissions for truckstops that are not listed.
